Why a Sequence Beats a Single Appointment

Most treatments here do their best work in sequence: neurotoxin on a maintenance cadence, microneedling as a series, biostimulators building over months, skin care daily underneath all of it. A consultation therefore ends with a sequence, not just a first appointment: what comes first, what follows, and when each decision gets made.

The three pathways below are illustrations, not prescriptions. Your plan is built at a consultation, for your face, and every recommendation is made in person by a licensed provider.

Pathway One: Expression Lines and Skin Maintenance

Month one: a consultation, then neurotoxin, a short appointment with full effect at about two weeks, and a provider-built skin care routine that starts the same week.

Months three to four: neurotoxin results typically last about three to four months, so the second visit lands here. This is the first decision point: your provider reviews how the first round settled and adjusts dose or brand if the result asks for it.

Months six to twelve: the maintenance cadence repeats, with a skin care check-in as the seasons change. Downtime along the way is small: a possible bruise at an injection site for a few days, so book three weeks ahead of events.

Pathway Two: Volume Loss and Collagen Stimulation

Month one: a consultation with a health history review. Where one feature asks for precise volume right away, a hyaluronic acid filler can start the plan the same month.

Months one to three: a Sculptra® series, commonly two or three sessions spaced several weeks apart. Expect a few days of possible swelling or a small bruise around each session.

Months three to four: the main decision point. Collagen rebuilds over about two to three months, so this is when you and your provider judge the result, not week one.

Months six to twelve: a review visit. Biostimulator results keep building and commonly last two years or more, so the back half of the year is usually observation, with a filler touch-up only where the plan calls for it.

Pathway Three: Acne Texture and Scarring

Month one: a consultation and the skin care groundwork, because daily care determines how well the series works.

Months one to four: a SkinPen® microneedling series, commonly about three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with or without PRP, a decision made at the consultation. Each session brings one to three days of flushed skin, so plan photographs at least a week out.

Months four to six: the decision point after the series. Texture improves across the weeks after each session, and acne scarring usually asks for more patience than fine lines; your provider will say whether the series extends.

Months six to twelve: maintenance as advised, with daily skin care and sun protection carrying the result.

When a Plan Changes

A plan is revisited at every visit, not set once. It changes when your skin responds faster or slower than expected, when an event moves the timeline, when your health history changes, or when a goal shifts. A plan can also be small: one treatment and a skin care routine is a complete plan.

Questions

Build Your 12-Month Plan: common questions

Do I have to commit to twelve months?

No. The plan is a map, not a contract; it is revisited at every visit, and each step is decided with your provider before it happens.

What if I only want one treatment?

Then the plan is one treatment, usually with a skin care routine underneath it. Sequencing matters most where treatments build on each other, and your provider will say when that applies.

How do I start?

Book a consultation. We discuss your concerns and review your options, and you leave knowing what comes first, what follows, and when each decision gets made.
